The AJSU Party has introduced a resolution letter for the Jharkhand Assembly, focusing on nine key resolutions aimed at various segments of society, including youth, farmers, and locals. Titled ‘Abki Baar Rojgar Dene Wali Sarkar’, the 20-page document outlines 30 guarantees, promising an annual income of ₹1.21 lakh for every family, 200 units of free electricity for BPL families, and unemployment allowances of ₹30,000. Additional commitments include health insurance up to ₹25 lakh under the ‘Binod Bihari Mahto Jan Suraksha Yojana,’ annual grants of ₹12,000 for vulnerable farmers, and ₹5 lakh insurance for landless agricultural laborers.
AJSU Party Chief Sudesh Mahato, along with other party members, unveiled the manifesto on Friday. It includes promises like internships for unemployed graduates and postgraduates worth ₹30,000 annually and ₹10,000 monthly support for Jharkhand agitators. It also offers a total of ₹10 lakh assistance for poor and economically weak families, along with government job reservations. The manifesto proposes land passbooks for every raiyat and insurance coverage up to ₹10 lakh.
Under the Nari Samman initiative, women will receive ₹2,500 each, along with ₹20 lakh allocated for women’s school organizations. Youth will have access to internships ranging from ₹6,000 to ₹25,000 in both government and private sectors, with 50% reservation for women in teacher, constable, and panchayat servant roles. Mahato pledged that, if elected, vacant government positions will be filled within a year, and efforts will be made to streamline legal frameworks for local policies based on final survey khatians, as well as to secure recognition for the Sarna Dharma Code. The ‘Dharti Yojana’ will directly link land transactions to mutations, empowering circle officers with assistant registrar authority, and promising job creation for countless young individuals, along with a thorough investigation into paper leak cases.
